I am researching William Austin Gooch, b. ~1860, and married to Eva L b. ~1860, (poss. Evaline Francis), poss. m. on 21 Dec. 1885. The 1900 Dist. 12 White Pine Fed. Census shows them, along w. son Thomas J. (poss. James), dau. Bessie J. (poss Josephine) and son Mack Forrest. The family moved to Collin County, TX between 1900 and 1910. Bessie died during that timeframe and is thought to be buried in TN, possibly in Jefferson County. Any info is appreciated.

Hello, I don't know what counties my folks were from but here goes. I need to find a Lorenzo D. Scott military recorsd. He was in the 13th Tennesse Cavalry Company H. He wnlisted January 31, 1864, He appliedfor a pension on May 12, 1860 as disabled. He was denied but his widow Margaret D. Scott received a pension. I have the numbers if that would help. I am trying to find where Margaret was getting her pension. I need to see what children they had and where they live. I know this is a lot. But hopefully someone can help me. Thank you, Nancy Scott

Need help with locating the death and burial location of LOONEY MCDANIEL, that is noted in the Morristown Gazette on 28 August 1878. In the notice it states that Mr. McDaniel, in Mossy Creek, fell off his porch and broke his neck. Any and all help will be most appreciated in the search for information on this gentleman. In 1840 census has Wiley James Read listed as married with one female child and one adult female under 30. Wiley married Katherine/Catherine Mariah Smith. She is the daughter of Coleman and Rebekah Crosby Smith. I need to find something to prove her relationship to her parents. Does anyone have a bible for the Smith's or Read's. Looking for information on a William C. Smith b. in TN September 22 1830. I first locate him in Locust Bayou, Calhoun Co, AR in 1850, He marries Sarah Elizabeth Warren in Oct 1853. Several children are born of this union and between the years 1890 - 1900 he moved to Oklahoma, (Choctaw Nation). William C. died while visiting one of his married sons in Greenville, TX May 1911 and is buried in the East Mount Cemetery in Greenville, TX. His death certificate indicates a birth county in TN, but is not easy to make out but looks like "Jolfs", which does not match any of the counties of TN. Would love to know which county he was born in to help finding him prior to 1850. Thank you for your time and assistance.
