Josiah Fain - Children of Josiah were Will, Julia, Lizzie, Bell, Retta, Mattie, Joe, Stewart, and Mrs. Havis
Will Fain married to a Miss Smith, first time. She was daughter of John Smith of Oak Grove. He had several children.

The Children of John Fain, Sr, were
Samuel, William, who married Elizabeth Moore, his daughter Lizzie married George Parrott.

Elizabeth married a man by the name of King, King had two daughters, one Mollie, married a Fry, in Chattanooga, another daughter Amelia married John Gillespie. They had a son, John K. Gillespie who married Hortense Booth and had three children, John K. Gillespie, Hortense Booth, and Margaret,

daughter of John Fain, Sr, married Dr. White and they had five children: Lucie, Corie, Ellen, John, and Rose. Rose married John Cheairs of Maury Co, TN. (name of Rose's husband and location written in long hand by someone).

John Fain, Jr, married 1st, Maria Moore and had a daughter Maria. Married 2nd, Mattie Moore and had three children, Namely: Flora, John, and Mamia (sic). Married 3rd, Jennie Watts.

John H. Fain married Eliza Ruth Moore. They had the following children:
Minnie, born 1856, married George W. Pickle.

Will Fain born 1853 married Lucy Meek and they had four children, and he married 2nd time and had children.

Lila Fain born 1860 married Dr. G. W. Gallion had one son, named George Gillespie.

George married Bessie Lea

Bell died when about grown.

Samuel W. born 1868 married Mary Clark born 1875. Have five children: Margaret, Fred, Clark, Frank, Isabel. Clark is married has one boy.

Kittie Ria (sic) Fain married Rev. Richardson

Ollie born in 1873 married Sam. H. Franklin. They have two children living and one dead.

Marriages:
Martha Fain married Leonard G. Ross and had the following children: Sam, Will, Theo, John, and Amelia, who married O. B. Havis.

John Ross was born 1848 and died 1932. He married Elizabeth Clark and had the following children:
Martha married a man by the name of Smith and lived in Chattanooga.
Amelia, Madge, Bessie married John Formalt and had one child named John.
Blanch, Jack and Robbie who married Harry Tittsworth. Harry Tittsworth was also connected with the Fains through his Mother.

General William Brazelton married Martha A., a daughter of John Fain, Sr.

Births:
John Fain Brazelton, son of Gen. Wm. Brazelton, was born 1833 and died 1906.

Nan, daughter of Gen. William Brazelton, married Dr. James G. Gillespie and had two children: Kittie and Will Gillespie.

Mat, daughter of Gen. Wm. Brazelton married Col. Burkett.

John Fain Brazelton had three children: Lee, Mary, George

Mary married Dr. G. M. Tittsworth who was in 1852 born.

Lee born 1864 married a Loy and had three children: Mable, Mack, and Blanch.

Dr. Tittsworth died 1908 and had three children: Harry, Mable, and Nell.

Nell Tittsworth married Dr. R. M. McCowan, a leading physician of Jefferson City, TN.
They have two children: Mary Elizabeth, born in 1910, and Jean born 1912.
Mary Elizabeth married Earl Fields and have one child named Betty Jean Fields.
