New Market – Again death has come into our little village and claimed another victim, this time he came in the shape of consumption and carried away Mrs. Sallie C Tadlock Haun.
For more than a year she has been a sufferer and for the last six months has hardly left her bed. Patiently and resignedly waiting for the end she has uncomplaining bowed to the will of God, though how hard has been the struggle, when she would look around upon her pleasant home, her husband and lovely children.
Besides her husband and five children, she leaves a father, two brothers and several sisters to mourn her loss.
The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Mr. Baker at the Presbyterian church tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock.
