The many friends of Mr. John L. Foust, who was for sometime in business with Mr. R. Van Gilder, will regret to learn of his death yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock.

The deceased was sixty-seven years of age and known to everyone in this city. He leaves four children, one of whom is married.

The funeral services will be held at the residence on Main Street, at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning, Drs. Sutherland and Elmore, officiating. The body will be interred at New Market the same afternoon.
