New Market – April 6, No sadder death nor one more deeply regretted by everyone has occurred in our town that that of Miss Eva Kennedy, who died at her home today at 2 o'clock after an illness of ten days. She was tenderly loved for her many noble traits not only in her home and in the school in which she was a teacher, but by everyone who knew her. Possessing and unusually sweet and gentle disposition, she was a general favorite and will be greatly missed. Mrs. Kennedy has lost a loving and helpful daughter, the church, the school and the Sunday School, has lost an earnest and faithful worker. Truly it is hard to give her up and we feel it is for the best. We must not forget that He is all wise. The funeral services will take place Sunday.
