Dandridge Native Dies in White Deer, Texas

J. Dewey Edgar, who left Dandridge years ago and located in Texas, died Thursday at his home in White Deer, where he had operated a large grain elevator for years.

Edgar was born in Jefferson County near Dandridge in 1873. He was a son of the late William I. Rebecca [sic] Riggs Edgar.

Survivors, widow; three children; one sister, Mrs. Paralee Montgomery of Houston, Texas. Edgar was the last of seven sons of the pioneer Jefferson County family.
