record is copied from an old leaf from an old Bible of James Bradford
of Jefferson County, Tenn.
Possession: An old Negro Slave, Aunt Nancy Bradford Sherfield, now living
in Dandridge, Tenn. This Record was handed down to Aunt Nancy, who belonged
to James Bradford, written by James Bradford and given to her by request. She
has in her possession only this old leaf, not the entire Bible.
The old slave is now 87 yrs. of age. These are supposed to
be former slaves of James Bradford of Jefferson County, Dandridge, TN.
