This day came the plaintiff by his attorney and dismissed his suit on the defendant appearing in Open Court one half of the costs. It is, therefore, considered by the court that cause be dismissed and that the plaintiff and defendant severally recover against each other their costs in this behalf expended (?).

This day came the petitioner by her attorney, and on motion and by order of the court proclamation was made by the sheriff at the courthouse door calling on the said John Brittain to appear and answer said petition or the same would be taken as confess and set down for hearing expartee.
