Historic Mossy Creek District Designated


In partnership with the state of Tennessee, the board of directors for the new Jefferson City Downtowns Program is holding a special event downtown on May 24 to unveil some exciting new plans for the area.


The event begins at 6 p.m. on East Old Andrew Johnson Highway (at the Post Office). It is scheduled to run until 8 p.m.

Jefferson City's downtown area was chosen last year as one of only four cities in East Tennessee to participate in the state's Tennessee Downtowns Program, a community improvement program for cities and counties seeking to revitalize traditional commercial districts.
