Births of Their Children:
Susan Alice was born Sept. 22, 1849
Francis Elvira was born Aug. 2, 1851
Sarah Jane was born Nov. 21, 1854
Son, James L. was born Dec. 20, 1856
Daughter, Mary Louise, was born Jan. 28, 1858
Son Charles A. was born Aug. 22, 1861
Son William McCowan was born Jan. 25, 1863
Daughter Kate Belle was born May 25, 1865
Son, George Arthur was born May 26, 1868
Daughter Edna was born Aug 5, 1870

There are ten children all groun (sic) up and married and only two living now.
