Sheriff Sale – by virtue of a writ of Venditioni exponus, issued from the Circuit Court of Jefferson County and to me directed, I shall proceed to sale to the highest bidder, for cash, at the door of the court-house, in Dandridge on Monday, the 18th day of December next, all the right title and interest and claim that Absalom Smith has, of in, and to one tract of land, lying in Jefferson County, in District No. – adjoining the lands of A Rice, John Rightsell and others. Levied on to satisfy a judgment and costs that Jesse Riggs recovered against said A. Smith, and Wm Wood, before Thomas B Rippeto Esq. - B F Newman, Sheriff of Jefferson County.
