Died on the 13th inst., at Jeremiah Jarnagin's in Grainger County, of fever, Dr. John N M'Anally, of Jefferson County, Tenn., aged 28 years. Much might be said in praise of the virtuous character of this excellent young man. He was much beloved and esteemed by all his acquaintances and without a known enemy. He was an affectionate husband, a successful and kind physician to his patients, with whom he labored until he was taken sick. His death is much lamented by a disconsolate wife and numerous train of friends. He made a profession of religion about four years ago and joined the Methodist Episcopal Church of which he continued a faithful member until death.
