Dandridge - Rev. James Carmon, who was an old time resident of this county, but who spent the later part of his life in Sevier County, died on Thursday of last week. He was born March 10, 1802 and has been a Methodist preacher ever since he was seventeen years old, a period of seventy-seven years.
