Dandridge -- The many friends and former students of Prof. Samuel P Johnson, one of the early educators in this county, will regret to hear of the death of his widow at the home of her son-in-law, Capt. David M Caldwell, of New Market, on Sunday last from a stroke of paralysis, aged about 77 years. She died in the full triumph of the faith she had exercised during her long life and a large circle of friends extend sympathy to her children, five in number, who survive.
