This album was located in the Deep Springs / Shady Grove Community of Jefferson County in 1999. Several of the photos are missing, but (frustratingly) the names of some missing photos remain on the pages!

The photos have been scanned and placed on-line for viewing and -- hopefully -- assistance with identification. One historical figure, John Harrison, is identifiable. He built a mill in Shady Grove. John Harrison's family history is fairly well documented.

Likewise, the Moore family whose home is pictured above is known, but many of the descendants living today have lost touch. If you can identify any of these photos or can provide additional information about any of these people, please contact the Webmistress (link in menu on this page).
