About Jefferson County

The Postmaster General has established the following post-offices in East Tennessee: Crooked Fork, Morgan county, postmaster, Alfred Agee; Red Spring, Polk county, postmaster, Wm Mills; Plum Grove, Blount county, postmaster, Alex Cook; Friendship, Blount county, postmaster, David Morgan; Cozby, Hamilton county, postmaster, Wm Cozby. The post-office in Jefferson county, known as Mouth of Chuckey, has been discontinued.
