Knitting Mill Opens in Jefferson City, 1923 PDF Print E-mail

New Knitting Mill

Jefferson City, Feb. 12 -- W. A. Peck, the master mechanic of the Taubel-Scott, Kitzmiller Inc. of Riverside, N. J., and New York City, will have the new hosiery knitting mill plant in running operation by tomorrow.

Forty-seven loopers, 166 ribbers, and 103 machines and 4 large inspector's tables have been installed. There are a total of 255 machines already installed. They occupy two large rooms over the Nanny McCall Hardware Co., and one over the Jefferson City Post-office building.
